Zanga is an AI-powered social networking application designed exclusively for adults aged 18 years and older. We are committed to preventing any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. This document outlines our policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the safety of minors.
2. Age Verification and Eligibility
2.1 Minimum Age Requirement
Zanga strictly enforces a minimum age requirement of 18 years for all users. This requirement applies globally without exception.
2.2 Age Verification Measures
- Date of Birth Collection: All users must provide their date of birth during registration, which is verified against the minimum age requirement.
- AI-Powered Age Detection: Our AI systems analyze uploaded profile photos to detect if a person appears to be under 18 years old. Photos flagged as potentially underage are reviewed and may result in account restrictions.
- Photo Verification: Users can complete optional photo verification to confirm their identity matches their profile.
2.3 Underage Account Handling
If we discover or suspect that a user is under 18 years of age:
- The account is immediately suspended pending investigation
- All account data is preserved for potential law enforcement needs
- The user is notified of the age requirement violation
- Appropriate authorities may be notified if CSAE concerns exist

- Any content sexualizing minors, including drawings, animations, or text
- Links to external sites containing CSAM
3.2 Child Grooming and Exploitation
- Any attempt to contact, solicit, or groom minors for sexual purposes
- Sharing, requesting, or distributing content that sexualizes children
- Discussions or expressions of sexual interest in minors
- Any attempt to facilitate offline contact with minors for inappropriate purposes
4. Detection and Prevention Measures
4.1 AI-Based Detection
Zanga employs AI-powered systems to help detect potential violations:
- Age Estimation: Our AI analyzes uploaded photos to flag images where the person appears to potentially be under 18 years old.
- Content Analysis: AI systems analyze uploaded photos for appropriateness and compliance with our community guidelines.
4.2 User Reporting System
We provide users with tools to report concerns:
- In-App Reporting: Users can report other users by selecting "Block or Report" on any profile. Report reasons include "Underage" as a dedicated category.
- Email Reporting: Users can report concerns directly via email to support@zanga.app
- Prioritized Review: All reports related to underage users or child safety are prioritized for immediate review.
4.3 Available Report Categories
Our in-app reporting system includes the following categories:
- Spam
- Scam or fraud
- Harassment or bullying
- Hate speech or discrimination

- Account Suspension: The associated account is immediately suspended
- Evidence Preservation: All relevant data is preserved for potential law enforcement needs
- Authority Reporting: We will report to appropriate law enforcement authorities as required by law
